Lauren Duffy has worked in credit unions for over 20 years, joining UMassFive College Federal Credit Union (UMassFive) in 2005 and rising to the senior management team in 2014 where she currently holds the role as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. She has served on the Board of Member Advantage Mortgage and CUSO Development Corporation since 2018 and was elected its Chair in 2021. Ms. Duffy is a 2019 winner of the BusinessWest 40 Under Forty award for her strategic leadership and dedication to continuous process improvement. Since 2017, she has also served on the Virtual Advisors Council for Boston Children’s Hospital, reviewing the potential impacts on patient and caregiver experiences for new hospital initiatives. Her professional passions include leveraging the cooperative business model of credit unions to empower the community, and modernizing the credit union experience for the next generation of members.
Patsy Stuard has over 39 years of experience in the credit union industry, including 26 years as a CEO. Ms. Stuard serves as Board Treasurer for the Homebase Credit Union and as a board member and Treasurer for the Virginia Credit Union League. She has served on state league committees in the areas of: Nominating, Bylaws, Community Involvement, and Governmental Affairs. Her ongoing commitment to the community is evident through her membership with area chambers, collaboration with Fort Lee, and involvement with Virginia’s Gateway Region Economic Development Organization.
Charlotte Cash has been in the credit union industry for over 30 years and the President/CEO of CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union, a founding partner of Member Advantage Mortgage with $335 million in assets and over 30,000 members, since 2012. In addition to holding seats on two CUSO Boards, Ms. Cash served on the Metropolitan Area Credit Union Management Association (MACUMA) from 2005 to 2016 and as chair of the association from 2014 to 2016. Ms. Cash has earned numerous marketing awards from CUNA, CUES and the Virginia Credit Union League, and is a Certified Chief Executive (CCE).
Perrin has been in the financial services industry for almost 30 years and is currently the President/CEO of Worcester Credit Union. For the last 13 years of her career, she has been working in branch locations in the Worcester area. During her time as Senior Vice President, Retail Banking and Mortgage Lending at Leominster Credit Union, she was responsible for leading the direction of the credit union’s retail banking and lending divisions. Perrin is a strategic and innovative leader with a solid understanding of community bank and credit union operations, policies, and regulations. In addition, she has served as a board member at the St. Vincent Hospital Research Fund, is a member of the Worcester Chamber of Commerce, and continually supports her hometown community as well as the Worcester community by volunteering for organizations such as Habitat for Humanity.
Joe Arnold was named as CEO of Carter Federal Credit Union in August of 2014 after having served as EVP/CFO for five years prior. In addition to overseeing all strategic and financial directives of the credit union, he serves on the CUSO boards of CUSO Development Companies, Business Alliance Financial Services, and Ongoing Operations. Prior to joining Carter in 2009, Joe served as a senior investment advisor at Southwest Corporate FCU where he worked with over 30 credit unions in investment portfolio and asset liability management.
Jeff is a 20-year veteran in the mortgage industry with a diverse background including retail and direct lending. For the past 7 years Jeff has worked with credit unions, first leading the Real Estate team for a $1.5 billion multi-state credit union and most recently as the CEO of Member Advantage Mortgage. Jeff is passionate about using technology to increase value for borrowers while also improving operational efficiency and consistency. He believes collaboration and shared resources are essential to the long-term success of credit unions in the mortgage industry and works daily with the team to uncover new ways to add value for CUSO clients and members.
Jennifer is a Certified Public Accountant with over 15 years of experience in the financial institution industry in both private and public practice. After starting out in the finance and accounting department at a local credit union, Jennifer served at a top 10 public accounting firm. Here she worked in the financial institution practice that performed audits of financial statements and internal controls including SOX audits for regional public and private banks, credit unions, and mortgage companies. In addition to overseeing financial functions, Jennifer leads risk/compliance areas of Member Advantage Mortgage and implements the company’s compliance management system.
Del has over 20 years of experience in mortgage lending comprising loan origination, underwriting, appraisal review, commercial lending, secondary markets, and business development. He has contributed to the growth of national and regional mortgage lenders including firms as Embrace Home Loans and First Choice Home Loans. Del is unwavering in commitment to world class customer care.
Kristie has spent more than 15 years in the mortgage industry and has experience in every aspect of mortgage operations. She’s held management positions with three independent mortgage lenders where she was responsible for various operational functions. For the past eight years, Kristie has been dedicated to helping credit unions succeed at mortgage lending in an ever-changing and complex industry. She leads a team of competent, experienced, and service-oriented professionals to deliver an exceptional origination experience for both credit unions and members alike.
